Creating a Therapeutic Will
About this Course
This course is suitable for those who work in all therapy, including private practice, voluntary agencies, employee assistance programmes, psychology, coaching and hypnotherapy. It can also support providers who use counselling/psychotherapy/hypnotherapy skills and keep confidential records. The course offers both a reflective and experiential learning where active completion demonstrates clients are at the heart of the work, even in challenging circumstances. It is written in such a way as to be followed easily on a screen with the activities easily identified and printed off or completed online as you go. There is an emphasis on applying your own style and adapting the instructions so the course should not be thought of as prescriptive.
This course was written in collaboration with Online Training for Counsellors.
By the end of the course you will have explored:
- The creation of your Therapeutic Will from start to finish
- Your personal pyramid of support
- GDPR and confidentiality
- Professional and financial relationships
- Electronic tools
